[edit] Hans Frank

I am almost certain that Hans Frank was not a Gauleiter. There's a discussion here on his exact title. In the transcript of his Nuremberg cross-examination here, he refers to going round Dachau on a trip organised for Gauleiters in (from memory) 1935; presumably he was tagging along rather than attending as a Gauleiter in his own right.--Major Bonkers (talk) 19:48, 1 November 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fictional and Date check.

Two questions about the article.

1) Would it be appropriate to add fictional Gauleiters at the bottom of the article? I'm specifically thinking of Gauleiter Zeller from the Sound of Music who would have been Gauleiter of Salzburg from the movie.

No. Intelligent Mr Toad (talk) 15:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

2) According to the article for Friedrich Rainer, he actually became Gauleiter for Salzburg in May of 1938. Since the personal article for him goes into greater depth, I would think that would be the more likely to be correct entry.Naraht (talk) 13:41, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
