I have removed Senator Justin Smith Morrill from the list of members of your fine fraternity. I am on the Board of Directors at the Justin Smith Morrill Homestead. I have also worked for the State of Vermont giving guided tours of the Homestead. I have read the two biographies of Senator Morrill and have consulted with the Strafford, Vermont historical society. There is no evidence that Senator Morrill was ever a member of the Delta Upsilon fraternity--or any other. In fact, he never attended any college or university and only had honorary degrees bestowed upon him. terrapin 13:24, 11 September 2007 (UTC)

Removal undone. Proof can be found at the following location [1]under the January 2008 issue. As you can see for yourself, Mr. Morrill's membership was honorary and the fraternity has hard evidence of his membership. DUKyleXY (talk) 19:33, 27 May 2008 (UTC)
