[edit] Hyper Deuterion Nuclear Reactor
I'm rewriting the part of the Hyper Deuterion Nuclear Reactor. As it is written right now, it doesn't make much sense. This part:
"The Destiny also features a second energy storage unit in the form of a Hyper Capacitor which allows the units effectively double the storage capacity of the Deuterion battery to aid keep a balanced power rate between the machines energy based weapons and the Wings of light, the Destiny is the only machine to feature a Hyper Capacitor. The Legend and Providence Zaku do not have the Hyper Capacitor feature nor do the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice."
Is an assumption, because that has not been seen in the show. Unless there is some verifiable source for this (which must have a link), it doesn't belong here.

This part also implies that both the Destiny and Providence doesn't use the N-Jammer Canceller, which is not right, because half the HD reactor is a fission reactor, and without the N-Jammer it won't work entirely.

[edit] Nuclear Technologies
Do the nuclear technologies really belong in this article? The Neutron Jammer and Neutron Jammer Canceller don't strike me as "superweapons"; in fact, it's questionable whether they qualify as weapons at all. The Neutron Stampeder and Nibellung are purely defensive devices, making their "superweapon" status questionable as well. Redxiv 23:49, 28 October 2005 (UTC)
Agree, these are more like significant technology rather then superweapons. - plau
- I tried to move them to the technology page before, but someone moved it back here. MythSearcher 04:06, 4 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Questionable fact
"Initial versions of the N-Jammer Canceller have no effect on and offer no protection from the Neutron Stampeder's effect, but ZAFT has since developed a version immune to the Stampeder."
I don't recall this. It was never mentioned in the anime. I took it out until someone can provide evidence stating otherwise.
[edit] N-Jammer Canceller and the Hyper Deuterion Nuclear Reactor
I believe that the section on the HDNR should be rewritten slightly. Without an N-Jammer Canceller the Nuclear Reactor in the suits (minus SF and IJ) wouldn't work at all and the system would be useless. The Destiny and Legend (and other HDNR suits) almost certainly have NJCs and the omission on the tech specs was done for political purposes much like the fact that the "A" denoting nuclear power was in their model numbers. I’d do it, but I don’t want to “step on toes” as it were. Evoluder Guy 22:22, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] I don't quite understand this.
When the Super Robot Wars series decided to include Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, some pointed out that the presence of N-Jammers would disable other nuclear-powered units. However, since all other Gundam series units use nuclear fusion for power and laser-activated nuclear warheads as weapons, N-Jammers would not affect them.
I think that it should either be replaced, removed, or clarifyed. What do you think? 74.116.137.2 21:59, 7 August 2007 (UTC)
- N-Jammer only affects nuclear fission, and will not affect nuclear fusion. However, since some of the more commonly known H-bomb in the real world uses a nuclear fission for ignition, N-Jammer can also affect them. The same thing would happen in SD Gundam G-Generation, with Seed suits together with all other Gundam series. Yet, all other Gundam series contains like no nuclear fission used in any war machines, thus N-Jammer would not affect them. One could argue this as speculation, yet it is just an unsourced (probably very hard to source now) from the Banpresto staff. MythSearchertalk 03:11, 8 August 2007 (UTC)
