[edit] Regarding "Marisa Tomei" and "Sandra Bullock"
The validity of the entries for "Marisa Tomei" and "Sandra Bullock" is disputed. Both have been deleted and readded a few times. There's room here for contributors to list their reasons why said entries should or should not be included in the list. --Netizen 10:39, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

- Delete both. I'll be the first to start. Neither the article "Marisa Tomei" nor that for "Sandra Bullock" give reasons to believe that they are indeed to be regarded primarily as Alban-Americans. Also no reasons whatsoever was given upon their listing and subsequent relisting. Therefore I've deleted those additions several times. --Netizen 10:48, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Definition for "Albanian-American"
I think we should agree on what would technically make somebody an "Albanian-American" (or any combination of citizenships at that). Some links to start: Ethnicity, Nationality, Citizenship, United States citizenship. Please leave your contributions below.--Netizen 10:58, 18 January 2006 (UTC)

- Some of my ideas in a brain-storm fashion: having the passport of both countries, speaking both languages fluently, friends and family in either country, growing up in one and living in the other country, having ancestry of one country and living in the other. --Netizen 11:03, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] "Template:unreferenced"
I feel the use of this template is warranted. The entries "Sandra Bullock" or "Mareisa Tomei" have been readded without citation of a source several times. There are also other entries the veracity of which I could not ascertain. It's a wiki. If you do change things though, please help others (such as me) to understand those changes, whatever they may be. I invite other contributors to discuss this issue with me. [edit] Sources
I have sourced the list in accordance with Wikipedia's Original Research and Verifiability policies. Basically, anyone described by a reliable source as "Albanian" or "Albanian-American" (i.e. as opposed to "of Albanian descent", "Albanian mother", etc.) is on the list. Here are the people I couldn't find anything for. If you have a reliable source that fits that please restore the names:
- Avni Abazi - actor/producer - is he American?
- Sandra Bullock
- Agim Coma - actor
- Emina Cunmulaj
- Lee Elia
- Peter Malota
- Laureta Meçi
- Laura Mersini
- Tom Perrotta
- Regis Philbin
- George Tames
- Marisa Tomei
