[edit] Wrestlers Managed

Varon managed Too Cool in 2000 in the WWF. Grand Master and Scotty should be added to her Wrestlers managed section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.201.182.142 (talk) 23:51, 31 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Training Background

I've added Finlay to the list, who has trained Victoria and the other Raw divas from around 2002-2003. Rob Conway, Nick Dinsmore and Randy Orton have also been added since they trained her in OVW, which has been mentioned in a recent interview posted on weforums along with one of the Byte This archive episodes.

Fixed the links for Finlay (Dave Finlay), Eugene (Nick Dinsmore) and shifted the link for Molly Holly from Molly_Holly to Nora_Greenwald so it doesnt have to redirect. Creol 23:55, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Victoria's Weight

Please stop altering Victoria's weight from 155 lbs. to 136. She has recently mentioned in an interview that she now weighs 155 pounds.

[edit] Injuries

Victoria did NOT injure Jazz with her savate kick during the battle royal that Gail Kim won. Jazz was already injured (btw, in her shoulder, no where near her face).

[edit] Picture

Can some one get a newer, better picture? Angli Cado Primoris

[edit] Sources

Can we please get some sources for this article? I'm reading through it all with a critical eye after the dust-up over the Ron Jeremy article and this article is seriously lacking. I wish to point out to you Jimbo Wales's comments (from here):

This is looking at the problem incorrectly. Blanking the page is better than doing nothing. Better still, would be to go through and remove the problematic information. The worst thing would be to do nothing. I would rather than we have a nearly blank article of information that we can verify, than a long article of unsourced and unprovable nonsense. I have said more on the talk page.--Jimbo Wales 07:37, 12 December 2006 (UTC)

Thank you folks. Tabercil 00:49, 15 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Trivia

Is it really necessary to add that Eddie Guerrero's life nor his slow music lasted long? Is it relevant to put it on Lisa's page or is it even right to put it up at all? If it has to stay, I say it needs rewording.--Captain Capatilism 11:39, 22 December 2006 (UTC)

Standing Moonsault

Was it really called the Jiggle Sault? Kosta12 15:31, March 24 2007

No. its never been named to my knowledge.Sephiroth storm 00:02, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Dragonrana?

Does anyone have a picture or video of this move? I've never heard of it.Sephiroth storm 00:02, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Busted Nose

At last nights July Friday 13th edition of Smackdown Torrie Wilson accidentally kicked Varon in the nose. It is unknown if Varon's nose is busted or minorly injured. Darius 21:37, 14 July 2007 (UTC)DariusDarius 21:37, 14 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Legal name

Okay she had her name leaglly changed sometime in her life for personal reasons (I think it was changed to Varon from Sole or something) so should this be mentioned or documented on her page?(MgTurtle 04:09, 9 August 2007 (UTC)).

LEGAL NAME

I believe there should be a correction to her name because the name (Varon) is her married name not her birth name, so whereever there is a Varon it should be change to Sole

Jazyy 04:10, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

  • Perhaps. But there's one problem with making it Sole throughtout: she's best known with Varon as her last name. So at some point in the article you'll have to transition to referring her to Varon. Tabercil 04:56, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Black Widow

Under the moves list section, shouldn't black widow be a sit-out inverted face buster instead of a powerbomb. Especially in the games, she delivers them face-first. Lee 17:01, 12 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pre-GA review

I'm going through the article to address any concerns before the article is nominated. As always, I find it to be well-written. I tend to be picky, though, so I'll list anything here that I can't fix on my own. I've only gone through to the end of the bodybuilding section, so I'll add to this list as I go.

  1. "she later moved to Los Angeles to try and do news fitness segments for television" - I would prefer to see a stronger verb than "do". It would also be nice to complete the thought by saying something like "to try to find employment ______ news fitness segments..." (sorry, but I can't think of a good verb right now).
Y Done I completely reworded the sentence and divided it in two. Nikki311 17:20, 20 January 2008 (UTC)
  1. "She also knew Trish Stratus through fitness competitions and in 1999, she earned her International Federation of BodyBuilders Professional Fitness Card..." - These seem like two very different thoughts that don't belong in the same sentence.
Y Done Nikki311 22:32, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

This is a start for now. I'll give some more feedback as I get the chance. Hope this helps, GaryColemanFan (talk) 05:51, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Follow-up: I managed to make it through the rest of the article. I made a few minor changes, but I didn't see any real problems. My only question is whether WWE Talent Scout Bruce Pritchard is the same as Bruce Prichard. If so, the spelling should be changed and it should be wikilinked. If not, I can't see anything else that needs to be mentioned. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:49, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

The source spells his name as "Pritchard" but it could be a typo. If Bruce Prichard was in fact a talent scout during that period of time then it most likely is the same person. - Deep Shadow 21:36, 27 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Split Up

I heard that Victoria split up with Steven Richards by kicking him in the face and giving him a widows peak. Is that right? Lee. 15:08, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Name change

[edit] Lisa Marie Varon

Resolved.

Who supports a move to Victoria (wrestler)? King iMatthew 2008 00:29, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

  • SupportOppose-She has used the name Victoria for predominantly her entire career, and became famous under that name. Per, WP:COMMONNAME, Victoria should be the title of her article.--~SRX~ 00:36, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
Per Lid.--~SRX~ 02:08, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose she uses Lisa Marie Varon frequently and refers to herself as Lisa in videos. WP:NAME also opposes names using a quantifier (i.e. "Wrestler") when there is a perfectly suitable replacement that does not use a quantifier. –– Lid(Talk) 02:02, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose, there are other wrestlers going by the name Victoria (Victoria Crawford, Lady Victoria, etc), so that might get confusing. Nikki311 19:21, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
  • Oppose The name is perfectly fine to go by. Zenlax T C S 19:38, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
