Repetitive songs contain stanzas that repeat, exactly or almost exactly, for an arbitrarily large number of iterations. Simple repetitive songs are common in many cultures, especially among children.[1] [2]
Songs on this list must be wholly repetitive. This excludes ordinary songs with a refrain.
Many animals communicate with members of their species using repetitive songs. The whale song is an example.
