List of post-1960s films in black-and-white
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Since the mid-1960s, feature films have been filmed almost exclusively in color. Before this time, most dramas were filmed in black-and-white while escapist fare, such as Westerns, musicals and comedies, were in color. Still, films from the last few decades are sometimes presented in black and white, usually to create a vintage look, or in case of independent and amateur movies sometimes due to budget constraints.
