| 1 | "Not So Happy Campers Part 1" | July 8, 2007[5] |
| The pilot episode of the series introduces the campers. The campers are then split into 2 teams, the "Killer Bass" and the "Screaming Gophers". | ||
| 2 | "Not So Happy Campers Part 2" | July 8, 2007[5] |
| The 22 campers had to jump off a 1000 foot high cliff into the lake. Courtney, Beth, and DJ were too afraid to jump off, so they had to wear chicken hats. Killer Bass lost and voted off Ezekiel because of his sexist remarks to all the girls on his team. | ||
| 3 | "The Big Sleep" | July 15, 2007 |
|
In this episode Chris made the campers run around the island and then he has them eat a HUGE FEAST, which made them very tired. But it turns out that the real challenge was an "Awake-a-thon". Gwen and Duncan were the final two to be left awake, but when they were dismissed for a bathroom break they found Duncan sleeping on the toilet, which made Gwen the winner. The Killer Bass were at the bonfire again and this time Eva was voted off due to lashing out at her team. (Heather had stolen Eva's mp3 player strategically to make her angry and get her out). |
||
| 4 | "Dodgebrawl" | July 22, 2007 |
| This episode's events consisted of a dodgeball game of five rounds. Duncan and Gwen were both still exhausted from the Awake-a-Thon of the previous episode. The Screaming Gophers still appeared to be winning, until the Killer Bass woke Duncan up, prompting him to help them win. Lindsay threatened her position in Heather's alliance by dating Tyler. Heather drops a canoe on Tyler in revenge. Noah refuses to participate in the dodgeball game and insults the efforts of his teammates. In the end, the final two players on the field are Owen for the Screaming Gophers, and Harold of the Killer Bass. In the end, Harold catches the final ball, winning the Killer Bass' first victory. Noah is voted off for not participating in the dodgeball game. | ||
| 5 | "Drama 101" | July 29, 2007 |
| The contestants participate in a talent quest. Each team has eight hours to choose three team members to represent them. Geoff, DJ, and Courtney are to represent the Killer Bass, and Heather, Trent, and Justin represent the Screaming Gophers. Something goes wrong with each of the Killer Bass's acts, and Bridgette and Harold have to stand in for the Killer Bass's act. Meanwhile Lindsay and Tyler make out in the bathrooms. When Bridgette does her handstand act, she throws up on everyone. Harold's beat-boxing is surprisingly good though, and he wins the contest for the Killer Bass. Meanwhile, Heather steals Gwen's diary and decides to read it out loud during the talent show, revealing Gwen's major crush on Trent to humiliate her. Gwen retaliates against Heather by putting Harold's ants in her bed. Justin is voted off after Heather convinces four other Screaming Gophers to vote for him instead of her. | ||
| 6 | "The Sucky Outdoors" | August 5, 2007 |
| This episode's event was staying in the woods for one night without food. The Screaming Gophers had an encounter with a bear which turned out to be Izzy in a bear suit, but they came across a real bear soon afterwards. The Killer Bass lost two of their campers, Katie and Sadie who were left behind eating blueberries. Brigette accidentally burned down the tent of the Killer Bass. Then it started to rain. When morning arrived Courtney was "cuddling" with Duncan, but since she was asleep she said to herself "it didn't happen". The Killer Bass were first to get to the campfire grounds but since they did not have Katie and Sadie with them, they lost. Katie was voted off due to her lateness with Sadie (who is devastated that Katie left the island). | ||
| 7 | "Phobia Factor" | August 12, 2007 |
|
This episode starts off the night Katie departed. Sadie is crying at the Dock of Shame, and would not remove despite many people begging her to calm down since Katie would want her to keep going. Finally, Bridgette yanks her away, causing Sadie to leave with a piece of the Dock. The Killer Bass and Screaming Gophers arrive at the campfire. The teams start talking to each other and admit their greatest fears. Courtney's fear, however, isn't revealed until the end: green jello. The challenge was to face your fear. Courtney and Duncan's relationship begins to strengthen as Courtney holds Duncans hand before his challenge, (which is hugging a life-sized picture of Celin Dion). After chickening out on her task, Courtney causes the Bass to lose (as Courtney's win would have tripled their score). Bridgette, Tyler, and Courtney had refused to do their respective challenges, so they ended up in the bottom three. When Tyler is eliminated, the contestants begin to mock him, causing him to cry. When leaving on the Boat of Losers, he is surrounded by a hoard of chickens, his fear. Lindsey is then shown in the confession stall, wishing him a good-bye, though she calls him "Taylor".

| 8 | "Up The Creek" | August 19, 2007 |
| This episode's event was a canoe trip to the cursed Boney Island, inhabited by giant prehistoric (carnivorous) beavers and pterodactyl-like geese. After Cody is shot down by Gwen, repeatedly, he arranges for Gwen and Trent to hook up on the canoe trip back. Likewise, DJ helps Geoff to hook up with Bridgette. The teams both arrive at the other end of the island where they have to build a fire. Duncan uses his lighter to make a fire, while Izzy uses a "firestarter" to make an even bigger fire. Harold accidentally uses the canoe paddles to try to make the fire bigger, but that doesn't help. Both teams get in their canoes to paddle back to the camp. Unfortunately for the Bass they don't have any paddles so DJ overcomes his fear of water and pushes them amazingly fast back to the camp, making them win. Izzy had been acting nutty through the episode and leaves the competition when the RCMP turn up to apprehend her. As well, Beth, unwittingly, takes an old idol from the island, which curses her. | ||
| 9 | "Bad Will Hunting" | August 26, 2007 |
| Half the Killer Bass and Screaming Gophers have to outrun the other halves of the two teams who are using paintball guns. During the hunt, Beth decides to break off her alliance with Heather and Lindsey after Heather orders her to steal a bag of potato chips from Chef's kitchen, and decides to eat them herself, leaving only a few chips for Heather. Heather then gets into a fight with Beth. Cody finishes them off after finding the discarded bag in the forest, but the chips attract a bear that mauls him. Owen first attempts to shoot DJ, but ends up chasing him up the cliff from the first challenge. When he thinks he has a chance to get DJ, he finds he has used up all his ammunition, prompting DJ to throw him off the cliff. Owen then attempts to catch Duncan, but blows his cover. Duncan then runs into Courtney, and after a small argument over where the campsite is, they get their antlers stuck together (which Duncan admits he liked). Bridgette, Harold, and Geoff all shoot Heather at once. At the end, since the Screaming Gophers are all covered in paint, the Killer Bass were declared the winners. Cody is voted off because the team felt he was not useful any more, and Beth wheels him down the dock, giving him a kiss on the cheek. However, the boat of losers hadn't arrived yet, and Beth pushed Cody's wheelchair into the lake. | ||
| 10 | "If You Can't Take The Heat" | September 2, 2007 |
| The two teams each have to make a three course dinner for Chris. Heather continues to boss everyone around, causing LeShawna, Lindsey and Beth to get back at her by deliberately locking her in the freezer. Owen accidentally throws a box of oranges on Trent's head, giving him a concussion. Meanwhile, the guys on Killer Bass are frustrated with Harold for leaving his underwear on the floor, so they steal all his pants and put hot sauce in his underwear. On Killer Bass, DJ hints to Bridgette that Geoff likes her; however when DJ tried to get them talking he made a faux pas. Courtney and Duncan had to work on dessert together, (much to each other's distaste) resulting in a food fight. However, in confession stall Duncan admits he likes Courtney. In the end, Duncan gives her a huge hug. By the end of the second challenge, the Screaming Gophers lose after Owen eats all the ribs they make. They then find out about Beth's cursed tiki idol and believe that it's the reason they keep losing. At the campfire ceremony, Beth is the next person to walk the Dock of Shame (much to Heather's delight). The guys from Killer Bass get the ultimate payback at Harold by pushing his bed out onto the dock while he's sleeping, making all the girls see him as he wakes up: stark naked. | ||
| 11 | "Who Can You Trust?" | September 9, 2007 |
| This episode had Chris put the campers in a "Trust Competition" which had challenges like rock climbing, cooking a poisonous fish and making sure it's cooked right or else they would become sick and vomit, and another 3 challenges. Lindsay is supposed to cook for Trent, but does it wrong and Trent ends up very sick. Sadie is eliminated due to hitting Courtney with so many crab apples Courtney passed out during their part of the challenge. | ||
| 12 | "Basic Straining" | September 16, 2007 |
| In this episode, the campers face many military style challenges, hosted by Chef. In the end it is Gwen who wins the challenge, sending the Killer Bass to elimination. Courtney is eliminated after Harold rigs the vote (after seeing Courtney and Duncan kiss), because he wanted revenge on Duncan for his mean behavior. | ||
| 13 | "X-Treme Torture" | September 23, 2007 |
|
Gwen and Bridgette find a love letter and try to find out who it is for and from. The campers are paired up, one Killer Bass against one Screaming Gopher, and face off in extreme sports. Lindsey wins as she really wanted the prize - a shower. Harold is eliminated because he is distracted during the event by Heather's top coming off, and it is revealed that the letter was from Harold to Leshawna. They kiss, and Leshawna chases Heather into the woods for flashing Harold. |
||
| 14 | "Brunch of Disgustingness" | September 30, 2007 |
|
Chris arrives congratulating the campers for meeting the "half way mark". He tells them that during today's challenge, no one will be eliminated. It will be a typical "Battle of the Sexes" event. The prize win includes a trip to a Five Star resort, while the losers would have to stay with Chef. Bridgette is sent to the girls' cabin, and Trent and Owen are sent to the boys' cabin. Bridgette chooses to sleep on Leshawna and Gwen's side of the cabin, and Heather divides the cabin with tape. In the boys' cabin, Trent and Owen easily fit in, and Geoff is made the leader for belching loud enough to shake the island. The campers meet in the mess hall for the day's challenge, which is to eat a nine-course meal of disgusting food. The courses include bull testicles, pizza with live crickets and anchovies on top of jellyfish, a bunion soup with toenail crackers, a wad of gum that Chef freshly chewed, skunk juice, a slipper covered in toothpaste, a sliced rotton apple, garbage mix, as well as hotdogs made out of dolphins. But Bridgette and D.J. refuse to eat the dolphin, so Owen and LeShawna compete for the win. The challenge ends with the boys winning, and everybody throwing up, though while boarding the cruise, Geoff stares out the window, missing Bridgette. |
||
| 15 | "No Pain, No Game" | October 7, 2007 |
| The boys return from the luxurious 5-Star Resort. On the PA, Chris announces two past contestants will return, and officially, the two teams have been dissolved. The island is mortified to learn Eva is the first to return; bubbling with fury, she lets Bridgette know she hates her and will take revenge for having her voted off. Izzy is the second to return, also revealing she had never left the island but lived amongst beavers, bears and gorillas. The now twelve campers head to their first challenge, sitting at a game-show like setting, assisted by Chef. The campers will have to do a 10 second task, if completed, they make it to the next round, if failed, they get locked up. The winner wins a luxurious shower trailer. Various tasks include being the goal to flying turtles, a marshmallow face wax, lake leeches, woodpecked wooden shorts, removal of facial hair, strangling snakes, buzzing bees, jumping over skunks, locked up with a gorilla, hair sawed off, ice cream brain freeze, "wonderful music", electric eels and poison ivy spa, and grizzly on a log. Throughout the whole challenge, Eva terrifies the other campers, while Bridgette and Geoff's relationship grows stronger. Gwen forgives Trent over the "coffin incident" from "Phobia Factor". In the end, Leshawna wins the prize, where she keeps after Total Drama Island. The campers have their votes viewed on a screen. Everyone except for Duncan votes off Eva because they were scared of her (Duncan thinks Heather had something to do with Courtney's elimination). While riding away on the Boat of Losers, Eva tries to tell the group Izzy was never on the island after she was chased away by the RCMP, but Izzy immediately changes the subject. | ||
| 16 | "Search And Do Not Destroy" | October 14, 2007 |
|
The episode begins with Gwen drawing Trent in her sketchbook, who is swimming in the nearby lake. Today's challenge included Chris hosting a pirate scavenger hunt. Each camper must retrieve a key for a chest, using a hint that they each randomly drew. Their keys were hidden in various places such as around a bear's neck, in Chef's refrigerator, in a beehive, in a flaming hoop, guarded by a poisonous snake, in a skunk hole, surrounded by sharks, in the washroom sewage systems, crocodiles, at the top of a tree, and behind a ferocious bunny. In this episode, Izzy was revealed to be in an alliance with Heather and Lindsey. Gwen and Trent share their first kiss, though Heather sees it as a threat and schemes to break them up by kissing Trent. Leshawna returns with her key and runs around camp telling everyone Trent cheated on her with Heather, causing everyone to vote against them. Heather had won invincibility in the game, so Trent was voted off. After he and Gwen found out Heather's scheme, they re-united right before he was taken on the Boat of Losers. Leshawna then connects Heather's shower with the sewage pipe system. |
||
| 17 | "Hide and Be Sneaky" | October 21, 2007 |
| The campers participate in a game of hide and seek, where Chef chases the campers with a water gun. Heather begins losing her temper with Lindsay after Lindsay struggles to find a decent hiding spot. While looking for a place to hide, an un-coordinate Bridgette inadvertently gets her leg tangled with noisy decorations, attracting skunks and she is sprayed. Leshawna, however, finds a decent hiding spot: in the water. The boys make an alliance, which the girls find out about and make their own alliance. The boys decide to vote off Bridgette, as she is athletic. Geoff however, agrees reluctantly. While Bridgette is leaving the island, he attempts to kiss her, though he is pulled off by the smell of the skunks. The last scene of the episode shows him dangling from a tree outside wrapped in a sleeping bag, for not voting off Bridgette. | ||
| 18 | "That's Off the Chain!" | October 28, 2007 |
| In this episode, the campers build their own bikes. Geoff, who suffers a heartache after Bridgette's departure named his bike after her, with a picture of her face taped to the front. The campers then must draw a name out of a hat and ride that person's bike through an obstacle course. After allowing Leshawna to ride on her bike, Izzy pedals her bike in a way the bike begins moving with the speed of a car. For this, they don't show up for the challenge, and indeed, for most of the episode. Heather ignores Lindsay's wish of wanting to win, but tricks Lindsay into breaking Chef's bike for her own. The challenge was for the remaining winners, Heather, Lindsay, Duncan, and Owen, to take their own bikes around an obstacle course. The last person to go over the finish line would go home without a dramatic bonfire ceremony. Lindsay sacrifices herself for Heather to win. Though since Duncan and Owen both had terrible wipeouts, it meant Lindsay was eliminated as she was truly the 'last person to cross the finish line'. When Lindsay finally finds out Heather didn't care that her "best female friend" was leaving, Lindsay finally used all her anger and begun yelling at Heather, and indeed, swearing her mouth off. The entire island, including the contestants, staff, and animals are shocked with Lindsay's outburst. While leaving the island, everyone notes they would miss Lindsay. Before leaving, she says she hopes Heather gets all the karma she deserves, as well, she says that out of all of them, she would miss Owen the most. | ||
| 19 | "Hook, Line, and Screamer" | November 4, 2007 |
|
The campers all watched a slasher flick together, DJ screaming half the time, Owen flirting with Izzy, and Duncan and Gwen talking about their favorite scary movies. Afterwards, the campers arrived at the Dock of Shame just in time to catch Chef and Chris fleeing in the Boat of Losers. They find a newspaper with a front-cover story of a psycho killer with a hook and a chainsaw (tied to a hockey stick) loose in the area. Heather immediately figures out it's a joke, and goes off to take a shower. Izzy and Owen head off into the woods, while the others huddle around the campfire. Owen and Izzy make out behind a bush and when the killer shows up and chases them around camp and into Chris' tent, where Chris is watching the campers on closed-circuit TVs. The killer takes off his hockey mask, revealing he's Chef. Chris then explains that the challenge was to watch a scary movie, then survive one. Chef then goes to catch Geoff, and DJ, who went to the bathroom, is frightened by the sight of Heather in a mud mask, and runs into the tent. Heather is dragged from the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel and her mud mask. Leshawna then goes off to get food, against Gwen's advice to stay together, and is caught, although Chris gives her some extra points for bringing along some brownies. Only Duncan and Gwen are left. Back at the campfire Gwen and Duncan talk. Gwen believes that Duncan was sent to juvenile hall for arson, and Duncan gets nervous and accidentally sets Gwen's 'Survival Clipboard' on fire, and leaves to take on "The Killer" at the Dock of Shame. There, he throws numerous things at Chef and finally ends up breaking off Chef's hook, taking away his chainsaw and unveiling him. Then they go back to the other campers. Gwen, frustrated, goes to the main hall to make a sandwich. A masked killer arrives in the Mess Hall, and Gwen is sure it's an actor. The campers, Chef, and Chris realize that the guy is a real killer, and hurry to the Mess Hall to tell her. Gwen beats up the killer, who runs away crying in a girly voice, talking about how he was treated much better in prison. Being the last one left, Gwen wins invincibility, and DJ is voted out without anyone voting just like Lindsay, being the only one to freak out without actually seeing Chef. All the campers declare that they will miss him, though. There is a big group hug moment (which Heather surprisingly joins). The way Gwen explains how not to get killed by the psychopath is a parody of the Scream movies. In each of these movies one of the heroes explains how an horror movie works and so on, tries to find a way to survive. |

| 20 | "Wawanakwa Gone Wild!" | November 11, 2007 |
| The episode starts with Owen trying to make Izzy forgive him. Izzy makes an angry reply and soon before she even finishes her sentence, Owen steps on a trap that leads to himself getting himself stuck in a tree and the others in a large cage. Chris frees them and reveals the week's challenge: catching a wild animal. Duncan grabs Owen's arm and says he caught one. Then Chris tells them it has to be a wild animal, everyone is assigned an animal. Chris allows the campers to go inside a boat house and get any supplies that will help them catch their animal. All the campers get something, but Geoff and Owen have no supplies. Duncan attempts to form an alliance with Heather - she refuses, but later joins after failing to catch her bear. Duncan attempts to scare the raccoon he finds into the cage but the other raccoons get angry and attack Duncan making him run off a cliff. Gwen lures her duck with bait but it runs away. Gwen runs after it with her mini net causing the duck to run right into its cage. A tired Duncan soon appears with his raccoon, coming in second after Gwen. Since Gwen was first she won a meal of her favourite foods. Leshawna finally catches her frog after much difficulty when it kept leading her into mud puddles. Geoff lures a whole beaver family into the cage after the beavers kept slapping him with their tails. Izzy fails in catching her deer but instead fires at a Chef, a horse, a plane, and Heather who is dressed up in a deer costume. At the bonfire ceremony Izzy is voted off and Heather tells Duncan to clean the washrooms for her. | ||
| 21 | "Trial by Tri-Armed Triathlon" | November 18, 2007 |
| After waking Owen up from his donut-copter dream, Chris tells the campers the challenge will be to be handcuffed to another camper and use their teamwork to win. At any time, Chris offers a "wimp key", a skeleton key that would unlock their handcuffs at any time, which would eliminate them from the challenge. Teams: Owen and Heather, Duncan and Leshawna, and Gwen and Geoff. At the dining cabin, the challenge is to finish a whole meal with one team member being an eater and the other being a feeder for the eater. Duncan and Leshawna have trouble deciding who will be the eater - Duncan eventually wins though LeShawna furiously stuffs his face with food. Gwen gets annoyed by Geoff's happy attitude. Heather gets tired of spoon-feeding Owen and stuffs the tray in his mouth, winning the task. The second challenge was a return to Boney Island in a canoe. Duncan makes fun of Leshawna's weight while on the trip; an angry Leshawna tells Duncan he's just using his tough attitude to cover his big heart and reveals Courtney already told her about his "replacement Bunny", and Duncan reveals his dog ran away from him when he was six. Geoff annoys Gwen by talking about parties. Heather and Owen are the first to reach Boney Island and open the package to find Beth's tiki idol; Beth had lied when she said returned it, instead she flushed it down a toilet. Chris reveals to complete task, they must return the tiki doll to a cave. Soon, the idol's bad luck begins attacking the teammates; Owen and Heather meet a spider; Duncan and Leshawna are scared away by bears. Gwen reveals to Geoff she's never been to a party, though Geoff promises that after they get off the island he will take Gwen to the biggest bash ever. Geoff throws the idol into the cave to avoid bad luck. Impressed, Gwen starts to loosen up. The final challenge was to stack wooden faces of their eliminated team mates in order they got voted off. Heather makes fun of Beth, Lindsey and Izzy making Owen scream at her, giving up the challenge. Geoff and Gwen have disputes of either Katie or Sadie was voted off fifth. Duncan carves D + C on Courtney's head and Chris makes fun of him; Leshawna then throws a wooden Sadie's head at Chris, which helps them win the last challenge. At the ceremony, Geoff gets voted off. Gwen is devastated, though Geoff tells her not to worry. The episode ends with Geoff and Gwen taking a photo together for his Camp Wawanakwa scrapbook. | ||
| 22 | "Haute Camp-ture" | November 25, 2007 |
| Chris says that this episode will focus on the campers that got voted off. He reveals when campers get voted off, they return to a five-star luxury resort. Katie and Sadie are reunited, as are Bridgette and Geoff, who've been spending most of their time making out in the hot tub (despite Ezekiel's numerous attempts to hit on her). Meanwhile, Harold has been spending all his time hiding from Courtney, who has vowed a brutal revenge after learning he had rigged the vote which caused her to be eliminated. Izzy teases Noah about kissing Cody and Lindsay gets a letter from her sister saying she got into Star Stalker Magazine. DJ is with his rabbit pal once again, but Bunny ends up getting hurt twice. When asked on their opinions of the final remaining campers, all of them want Heather voted off. They think Owen and Leshawna are pretty cool and that Duncan and Gwen are a little weird and mean. Chris then reveals that they will be choosing who they want voted off. But instead of meaning certain elimination for Heather, Chris betrays Leshawna with his shady hosting, counting every person (and even a parrot) who so much as mentions Leshawna's name as a vote against her. A stunned and confused Leshawna is then immediately tossed onto the Boat of Losers, without any explanation as to how she was even eliminated. | ||
| 23 | "Camp Castaways" | December 2, 2007 |
| After much rain, the the four remaining campers get stuck on an island they believe to be deserted, because their cabin's (and the confession stall that Owen was in) had floated away. They try to survive. Gwen, Duncan and Heather disagree and decide to make a rule of every camper for themselves. Gwen builds a raft to get back to camp, and her and Duncan set off and leave Heather alone, which causes Heather to cry. In the confession stall, she apologizes to Beth and Lindsay for being so mean to them. When Owen is by himself he finds a coconut and names it Mr Coconut. He eventually finds Heather. Duncan and Gwen end up back with Heather and Owen. They all return to camp after Chris and Chef come after them. In the end, it was Mr. Coconut who rolled the dock of shame. This episode is a parody of Cast Away. | ||
| 24 | "Are We There, Yeti?" | December 9, 2007 |
| This episode has Chef in charge, with Chris gone. The campers are paired up, stuck in the woods and must get back to camp without any help. Gwen and Heather are paired up (much to each other's distaste, at first) and Owen and Duncan are paired. Each team gets a bag of camping supplies to help them get back to camp. The two teams trick each other to get in the lead and steal the other's supplies. In the end it was the girls that won because Owen, who could have won by touching the camp's totem pole, ran to Chef's sticky buns instead. The girls won invincibility, which meant one of the guys had to leave. Duncan was sent down the dock of shame because he was a much bigger threat than Owen. | ||
| 25 | "I Triple Dog Dare You!" | December 16, 2007 |
| The challenge in this episode are dares. Chris tells the campers that the producers have run out of ways to torture them so they asked the eliminated campers for help. The eliminated campers made up disgusting dares for the campers to do. He brings in a wheel with a picture of each eliminated camper on it. He reveals the challenge is to spin the wheel. The pointer in the center of the wheel will point to one of the eliminated campers. The dare the campers have to do was created by the ex-camper the pointer lands on. When you do a challenge yourself you get a dare freebie or you can dare someone else to do the challenge. If you do though you will not receive a freebie. Refusing a challenge will result in instant disqualification. Gwen goes first and lands on Duncan. The challenge Duncan made is to lick Owen's armpit. Gwen dares Heather to do the dare in place of her. Heather licks Owen's armpit and falls down almost unconscious. Heather is next and lands on Ezekiel. His challenge is you have to chew on your own toenail slowly. Heather gets Gwen to do it instead and she does it much to her distaste. Owen's challenge is to chew Harold's old gum which he does happily, receiving a freebie. The challenges keep going on like: dressing as a baby, jump into a pool of leeches, giving a bear a "purple-nurple", drinking fruit punch out of the communial toilet, eating dog food, wrestling an alligator, wearing a beard of bees and so on. Near the end of the challenge Owen has twenty freebies, Gwen has two freebies and Heather has none. Gwen bribes Owen to give her half of his freebies for either half her winnings or a box of doughnuts if she doesn't win. Heather gets quite upset but since she can't do anything about it she angrily spins her wheel. It lands on Lindsey, relieved Heather believes she can finally take a break, only to find out that Lindsey's challenge is to have your hair shaved bald by Chef. Just as Chef is about to shave her, Heather kicks the shaver out of his hands. The shaver lands on Heather's head shaving her hair. Chris reveals that she is eliminated due to giving up the challenge. Heather angrily threatens Chris that she is going to sue him just before walking off the dock of shame. | ||
| 26 | "The Very Last Episode, Really!" | January 4, 2008 [3] |
|
Gwen and Owen start the episode with them in the conference booth telling everyone what its like. Gwen admits she only liked 5 people on the island. (Bridgette, Cody, Owen, DJ and Leshawna) "Surprisingly not Trent". Before Chris announces the final event, the 20 previous losers are invited back and each get to choose who they'd like to win. At first, the support for Owen and Gwen is equally divided, but when Owen announces that he wants to use the $100,000 prize money to finance a yacht party for all the campers, Gwen's support team instantly dissolves to a sparse four; Eva, Cody, Leshawna and Trent. Chris then announces that the final challenge will be a three-stage obstacle course; Climbing a pole to get a flag; crossing a plank perched over a gorge with the camp's freshwater sharks placed at the bottom while each holding an eagle egg and being chased by the angry parents; And a foot race back to camp, where Chris and Chef will be waiting to crown the winner. The two start off at a run, with Trent following Gwen trying to "win back her love." Gwen gets in front of Owen, who has a hard time climbing the pole. Gwen and Owen then both arrive at the planks, and Gwen reluctantly starts across. You then see Courtney and Duncan, who begin to fight about the camper's safety crossing the planks. Eventually, they begin to make out, despite their claims that they still can't stand each other. "Then again.... danger is.... kinda hot!" says a happy Courtney in the Confession Toilet. Meanwhile, Heather, desperate to spite Gwen (and sporting a brand new mullet wig after getting her head shaved in the previous episode), employs a series of underhanded tactics to ensure that Owen wins the challenge. As Gwen crosses the plank, Heather ripps off Justin's shirt off, causing Gwen and even Owen to become transixed in "the beauty." Trent blocks out Justin's chest, and Owen and Gwen continue to cross. They both finally get across, and run for the last part of the race. The two are neck and neck, however Owen suddenly desperately needs a washroom. It is revealed that Heather left Gwen a laxative-spiked cupcake at the beginning of the day that was thought to be from Trent. Heather, thinking Gwen would eat it, planned for Gwen to need the pit-stop in the race, not Owen. However Owen ate the cupcake, forcing him to make a brutal pit stop in the Confessional Toilet during the final stretch of the race. In the end, Heather's efforts only end up with Leshawna trapping her in the Confessional Toilet after Owen is finished. As the race draws to a close, Trent, still running aside Gwen, picks up a large boulder and explains to Gwen that he is "expressing his love for her. "He then continues to run beside Gwen with the heavy rock in his arms. It looks as though Gwen's better shape will win out over Owen, who is rapidly tiring out. But Izzy, not about to miss out on Owen's yacht party hatches a plan with Lindsay, using a fan borrowed from Chris' trailer to blow the scent of a plate of brownies to Owen. Smelling the food, Owen instantly gets a second wind, plowing through Gwen and Trent to break the tape and win the race. While Gwen is disappointed to have lost, she and Trent head back to the other ex-campers. She asks Trent if he forgot something and both of them look at the boulder. Saying yes Trent picks her up and says:I'll only put you down if you go out with me" Which Gwen agrees too. At the final bonfire, Chris and Chef present Owen with his $100,000 check, after which, Chris is promptly carried down to the Dock of Shame by the campers and unceremoniously dumped into Lake Wawanakwa (a small taste of revenge for the eight weeks of torture he made them endure). While Duncan, Owen and Geoff take off after Chef to do the same to him, Heather and Gwen manage to bring their feud to a reluctant end (somewhat). Cheering for Gwen: Trent, Cody, Eva, LeShawna Cheering for Owen: Ezekiel, Noah, Justin, Katie, Tyler, Izzy, Beth, Sadie, Courtney, Harold, Bridgette, Lindsay, DJ, Geoff, Duncan, and Heather |
