From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In the Spanish language there are some verbs with irregular participles. There are also verbs with both regular and irregular participles, in which the irregular form is most used as adjective. As a good rule of thumb, words with the root "poner" have an irregular participle with the root "puesto" (i.e. componer → compuesto), and verbs ending with -brir have the ending "bierto", as seen in abrir → abierto, cubrir → cubierto.
