The following is a complete list of episodes for the British sitcom Goodnight Sweetheart. The programme premiered on BBC 1 on 18 November 1993 and ran for six series until its final episode aired on 28 June 1999.
The show was written and created by Lawrence Marks and Morris Gran, who wrote the complete first series of the show, after which they only wrote some episodes, along with a team of writers. The creators also wrote the final episode of the show, where Gary Sparrow is forced to choose between Phoebe or Yvonne. In an interview, the pair commented that Gary couldn't always have his cake and eat it.[1]
Michelle Holmes originally played Yvonne, however the character was played by Emma Amos series four onwards. Dervla Kirwan originally played Phoebe, she was later played by Elizabeth Carling. Phoebe's father only featured in series one.

| After being called out on a television repair, Gary Sparrow stumbles down an alley way called Dukett's Passage, and unknowingly finds himself in war-torn London. He soon realises that he has found a time warp that allows him to "go back". |

| The time travelling two timer is thrown into a panic when reading that the east end of London, where Phoebe lives, gets heavily bombed by the Germans. After making excuses to Yvonne, Gary quickly darts back to the forties. |

| Yvonne becomes irritated with Gary and attends a university course in Huddersfield. Gary persuades Ron to print him the correct identity papers in exchange for a trip back to 1940, but it is not possible. |

| Gary sees an article in the paper concerning Phoebe Sparrow. Worrying that Phoebe will be waiting forever goes back to 1940 to finish their relationship. He pretends to Yvonne that he is going to a football match in Lithuania with Ron. |
