| 16 year old Paul Petersen, who lives with his parents, younger sister and grandmother leaves to go for a ride on his bike after visiting his girlfriend, Susie. However later on Paul comes off his bike in a hit and run accident, resulting in Paul having severe head injuries - Paul ends up on a ventilator and the doctors at Holby declare him brain dead and his family want his organs donated after his death. Seven year old Rachel is taken to Holby with epiglottitis and has a tracheotomy to help her breathe more easier. Also two men arrive at Holby in fancy dress, one dressed as a rabbit and the other as a chicken, when one of them has fallen through a window resulting in lacerations and later apologise for making rude remarks to Charlie Fairhead, Duffy and the paramedics (this is when Paul Petersen is rushed back in to crash/resuscitation when Paul goes into cardiac arrest) |
