The following is a list of chapters for the Japanese manga Black Jack. It was created by Osamu Tezuka and published in Weekly Shonen Champion from 1973 to 1983.
Some of the manga chapters were published in English by Viz Media in their manga anthology magazine, Manga Vizion, and then later released as graphic novels. Chapters that were released in English have a red line beneath them.
Chapter names are given via the English Translation from the original Japanese provided by the official Tezuka website (see below). In some cases, the chapter titles were serialized under one name, and then given a different title when published in a tankobon. For those chapters, both titles are listed.

Wanting his son healed, Nikura hires Black Jack to treat him. However, Black Jack informs Nikura that in order to cure Akudo, another human being would have to be sacrificed. To this end, Nikura uses every dirty trick he can with his power and influence. Black Jack, however, has other ideas. | ||||||

Late one night, Black Jack receives a phone call from a doctor saying that they need his services immediately. Without giving him a chance to respond, Black Jack begrudgingly meets the doctor, Doctor Kani, his assistants, and his patient outside his home. The mysterious patient is wearing a Noh mask to hide her identity, but Black Jack isn't interested in who she is. Dr. Kani shows Black Jack that his patient has a large growth on her side: a Teratogenous Cystoma. He goes to explain that it has not been removed due to the fact that any surgeon and nurses that try to get rid of it have gone mad, forcing the surgery to be cancelled. Not believing Dr. Kani's story, Black Jack attempts to remove the cystoma by himself, but soon finds that he is being controlled by some form of telekinetic power. Oddly enough, the power is coming from the cystoma itself. Since the cystoma contains the body parts of an unborn twin, over time it has become sentient and able to perform mild telekinesis. Black Jack negotiates with the cystoma saying that he promises not to kill the person inside if he is allowed to remove it. The unborn twin in the cystoma agrees, and Black Jack successfully removes the body parts. After the mysterious patient has made a recovery, Dr. Kani tells Black Jack to do what he wants with the body parts from the cystoma as he and his client are not interested. After they leave, Black Jack takes the unborn body parts and pieces them together with artificial limbs and skin. The operation is a success, and when Dr. Kani and his client return to finish paying Black Jack his bill, Black Jack introduces Dr. Kani's client to her twin sister: Pinoko. Their meeting does not go over well, and so Pinoko then begins to live with and assist Black Jack. |

[edit] English Publications
In 1999, Viz published 2 volumes of collected Black Jack stories, but then stopped the series, reportedly due to licensing problems with Tezuka Productions.
Vertical Inc. will be publishing the entire series in 12 volumes, beginning in September 2008.[2]
