[edit] Radio 1

I'Anson was a presenter on Radio 1 from 1995 until 1999. She hosted a weekday daytime show until 1999, after which she moved to present at the weekends.[3]

In August 1998 I'Anson travelled with Radio 1 to Ibiza for a series of live broadcasts. One morning I'Anson failed to turn up to present her show. It was reported that she had been "seen at a club on the island only hours before she was due to start". I'Anson was forced to apologise to Radio 1 staff and was warned by bosses that she would be sacked if it happened again.[4] On one, now infamous, occasion I'Anson claimed she had attended a Mark Morrison gig which she described as "wicked", however the gig had actually been cancelled at short notice making her description seem quite odd.

It was reported that the incident in Ibiza, falling listening figures and poor shows lead to her dismissal from the station in February 1999.[5]

I'Anson's departure from BBC Radio 1 was discussed on Sara Cox's show for the same radio station (broadcast April 21, 2007). Sara mentioned that she saw Lisa shortly after the "debacle" (Cox's word). According to Cox, when asked if she was in trouble, I'Anson replied "What are they going to do, fire me?"

[edit] After Radio 1

I'Anson presented a weekday discussion programme on BBC London 94.9 between 2000 - 2003.[6]

Her other work includes many programmes on MTV, the MOBO Awards, Dear Dilemma for BBC Two and the narrator of Sky One's Ibiza Uncovered and its various follow up series.[7]

Between 2002 and 2004, I'Anson was the narrator of ITV's Club Reps.[8]

In 2005, I'Anson took part in the third series of Celebrity Big Brother, she was the third person to be evicted when she left in a surprise eviction on Wednesday January 19.[9]

In 2007 she took part in ITV2's Deadline with chief editor Janet Street Porter with followed ten celebrities as they aimed to write, edit and produce a celebrity based magazine which was published as a supplement in Closer magazine. In heated scenes Street-Porter accused I'Anson of being a fake, and after finding out that she had been to a hairdresser instead of taking photographs I'Anson became the second celebrity to be sacked from the magazine.[10]

An experienced voice-over artist, I'Anson is frequently used in commercials and television documentaries. In 2006, she was heard as the voice of Vernon Kay's revival of Family Fortunes.[11] She is currently hosting a Sunday afternoon show on London radio station Magic 105.4.

I'Anson co-manages a girl band called Honeyshot.[12]
