De Leeuw was born July 3, 1958 in Moline, Illinois.
De Leeuw started her hardcore career in the late-1970s with a number of Swedish Erotica shorts.
She appeared in almost 200 films and was inducted into both the X-Rated Critics' Organization Hall of Fame and the AVN Hall of Fame.[1][2]
De Leeuw died from AIDS November 11, 1993.[citation needed]
