A liquor license is a permit to sell alcoholic beverages.

In Canada, liquor licences are issued by each province.

In Ontario, liquor licences are issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.

In the United States, liquor licences are issued by each state. Each city and localities may also have laws and regulations in acquiring such licence.

Depending on the local regulations, there may be several different classes of liquor licences. There may be several choices of licence classes depending on how one intends to sell the alcoholic beverages.
