[edit] Introduced in England?
This article seems to suggest that the Lion bar is English. But why does the German Nestle site say that it was developed in France in the 1970's?: http://www.nestle.de/Home/MarkenProdukte/UnsereProdukte/SchokoladeSuesswaren/Lion/Geschichte.htm?sid=8d439db5-da9c-410e-a04f-83c39c7a5e7a
The Nestle website for the UK even says that it was launched in 1976 (though no mention of which country), so before the trial in Dorset in 1977! Perhaps Mr. Nicoli first introduced the Lion bar in 1977 (or later) in the UK?
I hope someone comes up with reliable sources, links, or whatever, or else I would like to change it myself.213.10.46.8 (talk) 21:45, 2 June 2008 (UTC)
