[edit] Category Selection, word joiner?
Should the Category Jewellery be added to this article, I believe so but do not have the technical knowledge to do so. Also the phrase "mechanical connection" is although appropriate the word "joiner" or "join" is a key phrase on the USPTO's website in relation to Link Lock. Maybe both KEY TERMS could be added to better describe this invention.

[edit] Notability
Articles in Wikipedia must have notability in order to be included. Notability is conferred by coverage in reliable sources. Patent applications and self-published commercial links do not suffice. For this article to stay, link locks must be referenced in an independent, edited publication. --Eyrian 20:32, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Notability Problem Solved
Have included one of many sources supporting this Wikipedia article on Link Lock to refferences. P.J.M. is a respected independent, edited publication that circulates the entire jewellery industry mainly in the USA but Internationally also, and is a leading techniqual jewellery publication.

- Sure. But could you get a more specific link? I can't find the article on their website. --Eyrian 23:50, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
Updated the link to direct article... there are many articles on Link Lock on the Internet not affiliated with us in any way, it is a popular invention in our industry and has become a nessecity. Link Lock is an invention rapidly becoming commonly used around the world. A nail is used in consruction as is a nut and bolt or glue which can be compared to a link lock in our industry. The invention is used world-wide now and I belive its' important that there is a solid reference such as this one to define the invention.
