[edit] Biographical information

All available information seems to be drawn from articles on Roe v. Wade. Not much that is biographical appears to be at our disposal. Can someone help me look for some more info. on her? I don't even know if she's still alive. Michael 00:50, 1 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Federal laws?

I'm pretty certain the anti-abortion laws that were challenged were Texas laws, not federal. I'm putting in cite tags rather than making the edits, hoping someone more knowledgeable can put in correct details. --Reuben 23:26, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

I'm also certain that it was Texas state law that was challenged. I'll go ahead and make the change to the article but I'm still looking for a cite. Until I can find one, I'll just leave it as "laws." Sperril 17:35, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
I've also made some other changes to reflect the fact that Roe v. Wade didn't really "make abortion legal." I left your "fact" tags intact pending good citations. Since you put them in there, I'll leave it up to you if you want them removed. Sperril 17:52, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
