Lindine or Lindin Family this name may have several roots, until the 18th century family names were not very common in Slavic areas and a person would call himself Foo (Father of foo) and some type of suffix.

Another meaning is London, London is pronounced as "Landen" in some languages, for example in Russian, it sounds like lindin. Many Jewish people from Ukraine have this family name.
