Abgebildet ist das Netz der Straßenbahn- und Buslinien der Bochum-Gelsenkirchener Straßenbahnen AG auf dem Stand von Mai 1949. Die Fahrtstrecken sind mit allen Haltestellen und Zahlgrenzen eingezeichnet. Die Innenstadt-Strecken in Bochum und Gelsenkirchen sind in zwei Ecken des Plans noch einmal vergrößert dargestellt. An den Übergangshaltestellen deuten Pfeile die Fahrtmöglichkeiten mit Linien der benachbarten Verkehrsbetriebe in die Nachbarstädte an.
