[edit] Wendy Campbell

As you can see, the user which has been vandalising this page has been blocked. Presumably some reasonable edits can now proceed on this page. Your patience in trying to control this vandalism has been remarkable. Just so you know, however, in this situation the best course of action is not to go AfD with an article, but to warn the offending editor, or perhaps go to RfC. As you see, the correct procedure was simply to warn the vandal on their talk page and then request a block. This was a clear-cut case of vandalism and was thus resolved quickly. --Deville (Talk) 04:30, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

I read your comments on my discussion page regarding placing the named article on the AFD list. I now understand that it was improper to do so. However, I simply wanted to bring attention to an article I felt was one sided as it did not discuss some of the possibly hateful things she has written. I now understand the proper route to bring attention to articles that need work. Limbojones 22:51, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
No problem at all! All's well that end's well. It's just that you'll get a quicker response if you go through the standard vandalism channels. Also, if you ever have a question or problem you don't know how to resolve, please don't hesitate to leave a message on my Talk page.
I do have to say that this Wendy Campbell situation was exceedingly bizarre. I've seen tons of scenarios where people want to remove links to push their POV. But this was a case where she was removing articles she wrote, and published, herself. Very weird. --Deville (Talk) 01:52, 7 April 2006 (UTC)
