Limber Hill Transmitter

Limber Hill is a relay television transmitter in the Esk Valley in North Yorkshire. Local villages of Glaisdale, Lealholm and Egton Bridge receive television services from it. The transmitter is a relay of the Bilsdale_transmitter. Limber Hill is located at NZ789053. Limber Hill Provides the following services: BBC ONE (North East), BBC TWO (England), ITV 1 (Tyne Tees), and Channel 4. Channel 5 is not broadcast from Limber Hill.

Limber Hill will begin transmitting Freeview from the 1st September 2012. Analogue signals from Limber Hill will begin shutdown on the 1st September 2012 when BBC TWO will be shut down. The other Services will finally close down on the 30th September 2012.
