[edit] IRC bot

Is it possible to put the IRC bot on a new channel to be used by portuguese wikipedians (to fight vandalism on portuguese wikipedia)? How it can be done ? thanks. -- lijealso 22:25, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

It can be done with a few keyboard commands on my part, however I will need help in translation of the bot. Ill make the necesary adjustments. --Cool Cat^Talk|@ 23:42, 23 December 2005 (UTC)

I'll need the translation of all but the last one of the files listed above, last one has some code in it so is hard to translate others shouldnt be too hard. In case you have a unix shell available, there's also a python bot to monitor vandalism that can be left unattended (and it's also portable to any OS where python is ported) -- ( drini's page ☎ ) 16:43, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

Hi. I've ask you, some time ago, to put a irc bot on wikipedia-pt-vandalism. Is it working properly ? I cannot send commands to the bot (actually i dont remenber what commands it accepts. lijealso 00:01, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Your monobook is in Category:Wikipedia tools. This is most likely because when you were copying scripts into yout monobook you accidentaly copied their category. Since your monobook is not a tool itself, please remove this category from it. If you intend for your monobook to be a tool, please consider creating a subpage with a more descriptive name, and moving the category there.
