[edit] Byrne

Hey. If I understand correctly, you're one of the guys from Byrne Robotics, yes? I've been reading the thread there, and it's alternately encouraging and depressing, how some of you guys understand the point of Wikipedia, and others just... don't. I do have a large amount of Byrne comics (back at my parents' place, mostly) (yes, I know what "A Flame About So High" is the answer to), and I completely sympathize with the man's wish to be properly represented here, and not have quasi-libellous trash written about him.

[edit] Personal welcome

I'm glad you've shown up to pitch in on this project. All I want is for the article to be good, to be fact checked, to be neutral. It might contain some things that Byrne himself wishes weren't there (I don't actually know, I know nothing about him really) -- the article about me certainly does. But that's the trouble with neutrality. :-)

I hope you'll help the good people who just want to make this article good by providing pointers to source material, etc., to whatever extent you know them.

[edit] Stay!

I just had a look at the Byrne Robotics forum, and... are you leaving?

Are you giving up on WP? I'd be very sad if that were to happen. DS 00:24, 30 September 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cleveland Indians player articles

Hi ... I've recently caught the WP bug and decided to combine it with one of my other passions: The Tribe. I see that you've done some recent edits to Indians' player pages also. Since I don't want to step on your toes or duplicate efforts, I thought I'd drop you a quick note to introduce myself. Initially, I'd planned to just add infoboxes to players who don't have them and do some fact-checking. But I've gotten a little more ambitious and begun to make some more substantial edits to the articles. As a relative newbie, I'd appreciate any feedback you might have about what I've been doing. Here's my [contributions page]. Ciao. Sanfranman59 00:49, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
