James Lightoller (born 2 January 1984 in Douglas, Isle of Man) is an employee of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, shipping enthusiast and amateur photographer.

Lightoller also goes under the name LightollerTheManxman on the internet.

Lightoller is engaged to fiancée Meghan (who are marrying in the summer) and has two children Madeleine Meghan (born 12/12/00) and Adelaide Anna (born 26/05/08). He also has a pet cat called Manxie (born in 2007).

Lightoller used to play football for Douglas U13s and U15s, and now is in charge of a team consisting of crew from the Viking. His preferred position is centre back, but can play full back or defensive midfield.
