IMDb profile

Lightspeed is a 2006 film, also advertised as Stan Lee's Lightspeed.

[edit] Plot

The covert world of government 'Ghost Squad' agent Daniel Leight (Jason Connery of Spymaker: The Secret Life of Ian Fleming and Smallville) comes crashing down when he is critically injured in a building collapse triggered by the genetically mutated terrorist called Python (Daniel Goddard of BeastMaster). But when Leight's radiation treatments are sabotaged, he discovers that he has the ability to move at hyper speeds only by risking potentially fatal metabolic damage.

Stan Lee went on to lend his name to two other features (that, unlike Lightspeed, were animated), Mosaic and The Condor. While the two latter features are connected, it is unclear whether Lightspeed is meant to have any link.

[edit] Reception

Reception for the film has been almost universally negative.
