Lien Fang Yui

Fang Yui

This is a Chinese name; the family name is Fang.

Lien Fang Yui (Chinese: 連方瑀; born 1943 in Chongqing) as Fang Yui, is the wife of Lien Chan, the Chairman of Taiwan's Kuomintang party from 2000 to 2005. Fang is a former Miss Republic of China.

Fang and Lien were married in 1965, the same year that Lien received a PhD in political science from the University of Chicago. She went to visit mainland China with her husband in 2005.
