Template talk:Lib

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage takes {{Lib|liberal}}, {{Lib|libertarian}} or {{Lib|both}}. (Obviously, the entire point of the template is to avoid the third option, though). Please ensure that the second term is in lower case. samwaltz 20:49, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Now we just need the accompanying User Box. Heh.samwaltz 20:19, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] New Template: Lib

(For reference, this is what I've been spreading around to a few of the relevant sites) samwaltz 21:17, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

I just created a new template Template:Lib. (It's my first template). It takes one parameter, declaring whether the use on the page is "liberal", "libertarian", or "both". My idea was to use it to head articles such as Liberal International and Libertarian perspectives on gay rights where it might not be clear at first glance which meaning is intended. This would hopefully ensure consistent usage within an article, and prevent overly verbose unclear repetition from article to article. Feel free to discuss on the talk page Template_talk:Lib.

[edit] Supremacy

The word "supremacy" was originally spelled "supremecy", so I edited the template. I'm somewhat new to WP, so I hope that I haven't violated the normal procedure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Heqwm (talkcontribs) 08:03, 24 November 2007 (UTC)
