They have never won the world cup. but won other competions in africa. they have the best indoor soccer team in 2008 when they beat Egypt 4-3 in the final. at first libya was winning 3-1 but egypt tied at the las 7 seconds. Libya has gone a long way in sports and now are trying to qualify for the world cup. There most talented player is tarik al-taib plays for al hilal.
