[edit] KKK
Why does the monster have a head of a clansman? One would think that nazis liked that kind of organizations
- As oppose to what modern media wants people to believe, the Knights of KKK never did like the nazis. The nazis tried to make an american movement in the US, but whenever they had rallies the KKK were there and knocked the shockles out of the nazis. Reason is simple: they regarded the nazis as un-american (rightly so). Even simpler: they were a threat (as in competition) to the Knights of the KKK.
What surprises me more is the fact that this poster is copyrighted. "Don't make a copy of this poster and put it up anywhere, or you'll be arrested for copyrightinfringement" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.243.152.55 (talk) 00:55, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
Kinda biizzare that the poster condems the US for anti black violence awhile simultaneously denouncing The presence of blacks in U.S. population, contributing to its "mongrelization" !?!?! 80.229.222.48 (talk) 19:11, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
Nationalist dont really like other nationalist, chauvanist dont like others version of chauvanism. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.172.201.2 (talk) 13:09, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
- Come on, think you guys. Propaganda against the USA targeted at the Dutch public. The nazis are showing the superlative of their own deeds, even though they deny their own deeds in this picture I believe. Best way to put it into English sorry, Mallerd (talk) 21:01, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Backwards Flag?
I don't think so. A flag blowing in the wind is never backwards. Have you ever seen any type of military uniform before? That aside, why would Nazi propaganda artists depict Americans waving their own flag backwards? This needs to be stricken from the notations. I think the commenter was reading way too much into things. The mere presence of the Army Air Corps symbol does not equate to "demonization". The headdress on Miss America might be saying more against Native Americans than anything about their abuse. I don't know how he came up with that massive line about how 'blacks are mongrels and primitive' and the statement influenced one of the commenters on this discussion page.
The notes should help in depth examination of the picture, and not cloud it with frivolous conjecture. --67.172.13.176 (talk) 09:08, 18 March 2008 (UTC)
- If the artist had admired the U.S. flag as a symbol, then he would have shown the wind blowing the flag from the left, instead of from the right. U.S. national symbols play a prominent role in the whole figure who is depicted as destroying Europe. Nazis regarded jazz as "degenerate music", and derided Black influenbces on U.S. popular culture.
