Liang Hongzhi

Liang Hongzhi or Liang Hung-chih (梁鴻志) was born in 1883. He was a government official in China during the Warlord Era from 1911 to 1928. In 1938, the Japanese were looking for someone to lead their puppet Reformed Government of the Republic of China in Nanjing, and Liang was the highest ranking official that would take the job. He remained head of the puppet government until the Reorganized Government was formed by Wang Jingwei in March 1940. He then went into retirement but after the end of the war was shot by the Nationalists on 9 November 1946.
