Liam McLeod

Liam McLeod (born 1979 in Aberdeen, Scotland) is a football commentator and sports journalist[1] for BBC Scotland. He is currently a radio commentator for Sportsound.

McLeod has recently been praised by Scottish television presenter Richard Gordon for his recent commentaries.[citation needed]

McLeod took a degree in BA Journalism at Caledonian University [2].

As a child, McLeod was a promising young actor, who had parts in various productions in Aberdeen and also appeared on kids Tv programme why, dont you? where he showed of his tap dancing skills.

In 1998, McLeod narrowly missed out on a place in the Scottish Equestrian Team, which where competing in the European Championships in Budapest Hungary, injury forced him to give up the sport 6 months later.

Mcleod who could not read or write till he was fourteen know give lectures and support to Adults with similar problems

Before Working in Radio, McLeod was a trainee lumberjack, in 2001 after a stint at Flakes Disco's at the Carneige Hall Studios Dyce, He decided to take up his career in broadcast journalism.
