Li Shiming

Li Shiming (Chinese: ζŽδΈ–ζ˜Ž; 1948 - ) is a lieutenant general in the People's Liberation Army of China, and the current commander of PLA Chengdu Military Region.

Born in Santai, Sichuan Province, he joined PLA in April 1968, and Communist Party of China in December of the same year. In December 2006, he was appointed as vice commander of PLA Chengdu Military Region. In September 2007, he was promoted to commander of Chengdu Military Region.

He was made lieutenant general in 2005.

He is a member of 17th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
