LGDW (Laser Guided Direct Write) is a new technology that is currently being developed at Michigan Tech. The technology involves using a laser to insert molecules into a substrate.

While not currently used for manufacturing products, LGDW has many possible applications, most of which involve inserting biological molecules into a substance without damaging it.
