Leysan

Leysan (Somali: Leysaan) is one of the major subclans of Mirifle (Rahanweyn). Members of the subclan mainly inhabit Bay Region, Bakool, Lower Shabelle, Middle Jubba, Gedo, the Somali-inhabited northwestern region of Kenya, and the Somali-inhabited region of Ethiopia.

The Leysan subclan is divided into two main subclans: the Orsi and the Bari. Each of them is subdivided into several other sub sub clans.
