I think in the beginning of the the article to which is said, "The first GS .....debuted in 1991" In which it is ..um de facto to say that it was the Toyota Aristo which was the vehicle that had debuted , with the GS coming to america based on the Aristo. Lets not forget in all other markets this vehicle was a Toyota Aristo and not a Lexus GS , similarlly said with other Toyota models that had been rebadged as Lexus models for the United States til the 2000 where it was changing in some markets. [edit] rename?

hows about renaming the article, Toyota Aristo? There should be mention of Lexus, but the primary version (the Japanese version) was the Aristo.Sennen goroshi (talk) 17:24, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
