Lewiston Lake is a reservoir formed by Lewiston Dam[1] on the Trinity River, in northern California, United States, near the towns of Weaverville and Lewiston. It is used for watershed protection and flood control, as well as for hydroelectric generation,[1] and is a popular destination for water sports, including water-skiing, fishing, and houseboating.[3] The lake begins just downstream of Trinity Dam and Trinity Lake.[2]
