Lew Post

Lewis George Post (April 12, 1875 - August 21, 1944), was a Major League Baseball player who played for the Detroit Tigers in 1902. Platte played in 12 games, 3 as the backup right fielder, and the rest as a pinch-hitter. Platte had a .083 career batting average, not good enough to make it in the major leagues. Post died in 1944 at age 68. Post was born in Woodland, Michigan and died in Chicago, Illinois.
