[edit] Question About Journalistic Ethics
Is use of sock puppets to disguise censorship an accepted journalistic practice? In your opinion? Cerberus 02:31, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Explanation
Since you claim to understand how sock puppetry functions on Wikipedia, then you will understand why your edit history exposes you, and you will also understand the difference between sock puppetry abuse and use of a pseudonym (Wikipedia encourages the latter). So I suppose your questions were just rhetorical? If not, I can elaborate further. As for the ethics of censorship, journalistic or otherwise, I suppose that is between you and your conscience.
