Levinhurst is an electronic band formed by Lol Tolhurst, a founding member of The Cure, and his wife Cindy Levinson. Levinson provides vocals while Tolhurst writes the majority of the tracks, musically and lyrically, and programs the drums and keyboards.[1] So far, Levinhurst has released two studio albums - Perfect Life and House By The Sea - and one EP called The Grey. The Grey includes a cover of The Cure song "All Cats Are Grey", which Tolhurst claimed credit for writing lyrically.[2]

[edit] Future plans

Lol stated on May 2, 2008 on Levinhurst's official message board that the band is currently working on their third album, with a tour slated for October 2008.[3]

On May 29, 2008, Chain of Flowers, a fan-operated Cure news site and blog, received and reported information that original Cure bassist Michael Dempsey and an unnamed guitarist worked on the album with Lol and Cindy.[4] On June 3, 2008, Lol confirmed on Levinhurst's message board that Michael and Eric Bradley, Levinhurst's live guitarist, had worked with them on the album, which, as of now, is slated to be comprised of at least nine tracks, and that he expects it to be released sometime in October or November 2008.[5]
