[edit] Junk mail

The article now states,

Boxes where junk mail is unwanted are typically marked with a suitable sign.
  1. Where is this practice followed? It isn't universal.
  2. I'd prefer that the link to Bulk mail went to Direct marketing instead, since most of the discussion of junk mail in the former article has been moved to the latter.

Germany and Austria, for example. Austria has standardized labels "No mail without address"; if these are present, bulkmail won't be put in these boxes.

Thank you for your information. So, then, we're in agreement that that section the article as it now reads is of limited geographic scope. I'll edit it accordingly. Doctor Whom 16:54, 27 November 2006 (UTC)
