[edit] Candidate websites
Would it be unreasonable to have links to candidates' web sites as a separate section? votecarlson.com, electblaine.com, jeffgraham.ca, and others which I can't think of? How about a forums (fora?) and events section? The more informed people can get, the better our democracy works. --Maelich 23:14, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Further, consider Calgary, Edmonton, St. Albert each of which includes and allows campaign website links and other public citations or links on the internet. --Maelich 01:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- As long as all candidates are treated fairly. The previous edits seemed to promote a single candidate, which is why they were reversed. --Kmsiever 05:07, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Edits
I have interest in promoting the candidate I work for, but not at the expense of fairness and accuracy. I was not proposing that only Jeff Graham be promoted, but that is the one I know for certain and other campaigns could add their links for their candidates if permitted.
If I were to link the ones I know (from this discussion page) and add ones I encounter, could we work together to flesh out that list, or at least not quash others who help to put links for all candidates in all parts of the election? This could then serve like the Allied Arts Council's questionnaire to candidates: "We won't recommend any candidate over another, but here is what all who chose to respond have provided for your information"
Sound reasonable? --Maelich 20:32, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
- All I care about is that all candidates are treated equally. --Kmsiever 20:40, 26 September 2007 (UTC)
