Letohatchee is an unincorporated area in Lowndes County, Alabama, United States. It has a very small population and 4 companies.

Letohatchee is located just south of Montgomery. It is located in Lowndes County. Letohatchee has largely uninhabited land full of pastures and uncut woods. Its area is estimated at 18 miles long across.

Letohatchee has a very small population, with inhabinants only estimated at between 200-300 citizens. The population is mostly Afican Americans and Caucasians. 50% Blacks 30% white 10% other;

Letohatchee has 2 industrial plants, two convenience stores and two restaurant/cattle yards and a post office. The American Colliod Company operates a Bentonite clay mining operation here.
