[edit] History
Lethbridge School was set up in the year 1891 [1][2] and initially took children between the ages of 7 and 14 [1][2]. In 1892, an infants school moved in from a nearby Methodist School premises [1][2]. 1 year later, there were 198 infants attending the school [1], but there was much worry about numerous absences [1]. During the year of 1896, a parents day was held to try and solve the problem, but no one turned up [1]. In 1935, wooden huts were erected for the infants, and were still in use 30 years later [1][2].
