Brooklyn is a suburb of Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. It is located three kilometres south of the city centre, on the eastern slopes of hills above the broad valley which extends south towards the bays on the Cook Strait coast. Excellent views across the southern end of the city can be gained from the suburb.
