Bernard Bujold, the creator of www.LeStudio1.com, is a public relations and marketing consultant with pertinent experience in the telecommunications and multimedia industries. Many organizations and companies have used his services to meet their public relations needs, including Air France’s Canadian office, and he has authored numerous articles and editorials on a variety of subjects. He has also photographed several international sport events including the International Bromont equestrian competition, the Omnium DuMaurier tennis tournament, and the Montreal Formula 1 Grand Prix, as well as personalities such as Celine Dion, Gerard Depardieu, Sophia Loren, the Hon. Brian Mulroney, the Hon. Paul Martin, Ben Weider, Harry Rosen, and several others. He is also the author of the biography Pierre Péladeau cet inconnu (Pierre Péladeau, Founder of Quebecor). In 2005, he created an Internet weekly magazine www.LeStudio1com for which he is the Editor and a reporter. Bernard Bujold has worked in communications for more than 25 years with large and mid-sized companies as well as government organizations. He was responsible for analyzing their communications problems and implementing effective solutions. He is dynamic and gets results on time and on budget. Between 1991 and 1998, as communications manager and assistant to the President of Quebecor Inc., a collection of 125 companies and subsidiaries, he developed a communications plan which improved the media's and the business community's perception of Quebecor. He prepared and coordinated conferences and public appearances for the corporation's senior management, writing speeches, corporate documents and other presentations. More than 150 speeches were presented between 1991 and 1998 to university audiences, business associations and numerous other organizations. Bernard Bujold also managed a two-million-dollar annual donation and sponsorship budget for various organizations seeking financial support from Quebecor. He was also official media spokesperson for Quebecor and coordinated several promotional campaigns and sponsorship advertising projects. From 1984 to 1991, Bernard Bujold occupied several functions with ministers in the federal government. He was departmental assistant with the Solicitor General of Canada, assistant director of communications for the Prime Minister’s Office, spokesperson for Canada Post, and communications consultant for several organizations and ministries in Ottawa. This experience gave him insight into the workings of the federal government and a special understanding of how to approach government representatives effectively and manage media relations between ministries and the public. From 1975 to 1984, Bernard Bujold occupied different posts in radio, television and the written press. He was an announcer for CKCN radio in Sept-Iles, announcer for CHAU-TV in Carleton; journalist and parliamentary correspondent in the Quebec National Assembly Press Gallery; radio and television announcer for Radio-Canada in Moncton, journalist for the daily newspaper L’Évangéline, and freelance journalist for various French and English media in Canada. He was also director of communications and marketing manager for Acadian Credit Unions of New-Brunswick, which represents 88 branches of the financial institution. During this period, he improved his proficiency as a writer and announcer, while developing exciting stories, reports, and commercials to target a variety of audiences in an interesting and innovative way.
