[edit] Successful good article nomination
I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of October 21, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:
- 1. Well written?: The article is well written, personal pet peeve of mine may be too much use of "it" as opposed to naming out the species in each new paragraph. Ideas flowed and the prose was engaging and kept me interested.
- 2. Factually accurate?: The article is accurate and factual based on the sources and my own knowledge of raptors.
- 3. Broad in coverage?: The article is thorough enough under the Good Article Guidelines. I feel it could go higher.
- 4. Neutral point of view?: The article adheres to NPOV.
- 5. Article stability? The article is stable with no vandalism or edit warring.
- 6. Images?: The images are great and really illustrate the subject matter. From drawings of the animal to maps of its range.
If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations. — Mike Searson 03:51, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
