Leslie Craven is one of Britain's leading professional clarinettists. He is currently Principal Clarinettist in the orchestra of the Welsh National Opera and a teacher at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. He has also previously played principal clarinet in the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, the London Symphony Orchestra and the BBC Concert Orchestra.
Furthermore, he has played clarinet for the soundtracks for films such as Howard's End, Mickey Blue Eyes and The Wicker Man.
