Lesli Linka Glatter (sometimes credited as Leslie Linka Glatter) began as a dancer and choreographer before becoming a director. Her first film, Tales of Meeting and Parting (1984), was nominated for an Academy Award in the Live Action Short Film category. She has made several television films for cable networks, but the majority of her work is in television series.
