Lesley (Les) Sussman is a New York City author of nearly 20 fiction books, many of them on the subject of spirituality. Books on that subject include "Miracles Can Happen," "Physician of the Soul," "God's Miracles," "Miraculous Pet Recoveries" and "Zen Judaism." He has also written various books on health and healing, among them "Healthy Mouth, Healthy Body" (with Dr. Victor Zeines). His latest book, published in November 2006, is called Dark Magus: The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde Life of Miles Davis (Backbeat Books). Mr. Sussman is a former award-winning journalist and publicist, and over the years, has worked in a diversity of fields including as a Chicago Deputy Sheriff. Some of his other book titles include "Touched By God," "Praise Him," "Yes, Lord, I'm Comin' Home" and "Hayfever and Other Airborne Allergies."
